David Dufour aka D-Track, rapper and slammer from Gatineau, has a professional record that sums up in twelve years of active work in the field. He owns several self-produced rap albums to his credit, including Retour à l'état pur,hors-d'oeuvreand Le Feeling, projects that will earn him the respect and praise of critics. He won the Prix Coup de Cœur émergent Radio-Canada for his performance at the Festival de l’Outaouais émergent in 2013. That same year, his debut album Abris-tempois released on Coyote Records. David Dufour is one of those artists participating in slam scenes. His performances will allow him to win the title of Quebec slam champion in 2013 and to be ranked 4th at the Paris World Cup in 2014. The artist also had the chance to participate at Les Francouvertes, at Le Festival de la chanson de Granby, at Les Francofolies de Montréalas well as being part of “la cuvee des chansonneurs” at the Petite-Vallée Song Festival. In 2015, will be published under the Neige-Galerie, "Detroit", his first book in which we find his texts and photographs taken during a trip to the Motor City of the United States. In 2016, D-Track will released his most recent album Message texte à Nelligan, a project deserving the praise of several critics, including the Voir and La Presse, in addition to being nominated at the 2016 ADISQ Gala. for "hip hop album of the year".
